Q. Why are your prices too high?
A.
The truth is our prices are reasonable considering the overall benefit the
student can get. Investing in good education rather than just getting a pilot's
license is a wise decision. The main reason why it looks to high because we
give a direct total costs so that our clients will have a definite knowledge of
the program.
Q. Why do other flight schools offer lower prices?
A.
Lower price correspond normally to lower quality of education due to
inexperienced flight instructors, less aircraft and maintenance standards, and
less benefits they offer.
Q. Does the school accept any students?

We have criteria of students that we accept in our school. Our
rigid-pre-screening acceptance procedure ensures that we identify and accept
students who have the potential to succeed in our training and development
programs before placement in corporate or airline companies.
Q.How many students do you accept per batch?
A.
A maximum of 12 students per batch.

F A Qs
1.
What is the entry-level qualification for a pilot to join an airline and what
does he join as?
A:
The min. requirement that any airline generally wants is a pilot to have is a
basic Commercial Pilots License, with an Instrument Rating and preferably a
Multi Engine rating. When the pilot joins an airline, he joins as a trainee
pilot and then he undergoes the various training program conducted by the
airline as per their requirements. Once successfully completing theses training
programs one is released to fly as a first Officer (often called as Co-
Pilot).
2.
Can I join this course if I have studies Commerce or Arts?
A:
Yes u can definitely join this course and pursue a career as an airline pilot
provided you have cleared the 10+2 level exam from a recognized board. But in
the case of Commerce or an Arts Student, he/she will have to appear for an
isolated paper in math’s and physics at the 10+2 level from a recognised
education board.
3.
Is the FAA, CAA, JAA or Indian CPL valid anywhere else in the
world?
A:
Yes, Certainly the FAA, CAA or Indian CPL is valid all over the world and
it is fully convertible to a license of any other country as per the rules of
that country.
4.
How does an Airline Choose its Pilots ?
A:
Usually an airline will place an ad in the leading newspaper of the country and
then call for applications, Once received they will then short list the
candidates for a written exam, if successful in the written exam they would
want them to undergo a IPT test (Instrument Practical trainer test) which is
done on a basic procedure trainer like the ATC 710. The last block is that of a
personal interview which is conducted to assess the individual’s personality
and temperament. (May differ from employer to employer)
5.
How does one choose which aircraft to fly as a basic aircraft to be included in
the license as a rating?
A:
One can choose any aircraft below a weight of 1,500 Kgs; in this category a lot
of options are available like the Cessna 152. The basic criteria in choosing
the aircraft is easy availability, low maintenance, safe, easy to fly and
understand etc.
6.
Can I join the air force with a CPL or how do I join the air force ?
A:
One cannot join the air force with a CPL since the air force has different
criteria for selection and their training methods are very different as they
fly a different category of aircraft and fly it for a different purpose from
the one employed in training you as a commercial pilot. In order to join the

Air Hostess / Flight Purser
Introduction :
Imagine
yourself up there in the azure sky, moving in and out between fleecy white
clouds, watching the vast oceans, the earth and its people spread out far, far
below, like a relief map, all the while experiencing a sense of isolation, far
away from the madding crowds? Well that's what an airhostess undergoes as she
undertakes one flight after another during her highly exciting and
challenging career. As the name suggests, an Airhostess is
indeed the mistress of all she survey in side an aircraft during flights.
Inside the aircraft, she is the one who seems to be here, there and everywhere,
greeting every passenger with a smile, elegantly guiding each to his or her
seat, generously helping a passenger get settled, co-ordinating security
personnel, giving directions to the caterers and doing a myriad things.
In
most cases it is the girls who prefer this career although boys can do the same
job as stewards. Every girl dreams of becoming an airhostess. Airhostess is
very glamorous and exciting as it includes flying and traveling at free of
cost. However, it should be said that this is only partially true. The
job is nowhere as easy as it seems. The responsibilities of an airhostess range
from passenger service and safety to the skillful handling of difficult
passengers, which calls for a lot of PR work.
The
work of an Airhostess starts some time before the flight with the briefing
given by the senior flight attendant. This includes question and answer
sessions that would require you to be very thorough with safety, take-off and
service procedures. This is followed by a safety check on the aircraft, where
you would have to check the safety equipment, mikes, life jackets, stocks of
pillows, blankets, books, plates, glasses, napkins and medicines, etc. as well
as the cleanliness.
After
the passengers board the flight the job includes assisting passengers to settle
down. Special care is needed in case of VIPs, children, handicapped passengers
etc. It is also the duty of an airhostess to explain the safety
procedures and serve the passengers throughout the flight. In case of an
emergency during the flight, you need to take responsibility and determine the
most appropriate steps to deal with the situation.

CAREER PROSPECTS :
Starting
off as an airhostess, you have to take progressive examinations for promotions
and attend the refresher courses to keep abreast of the latest technology.
There
is every chance that you can then be promoted to the post of Senior Flight
Attendant and then Head Attendant. Your career as an air hostess would last for
about eight to ten years, after which you could move on to the ground duties
including the job of a Ground Hostess, Check Hostess, etc. or diversify into
any one of the other departments in the airline industry.
With
privatization and foreign collaboration increasing every day, the future is
bright for an airhostess. Most airline offices are looking to increasing their
fleet and there is a demand for airhostesses. While it is a fact that most
airline offices prefer to advertise when they plan to recruit, candidates may
send their resume, along with a photograph, to airline offices on their own
initiative.

CAREER PROSPECTS
At
present, there is a wide gap between the requirement and availability of
technical personnel and the aviation industry is feeling constrained. The
gap is likely to widen further with the retirement of old and experienced technical
personnel in the immediate future. Added to this is the rapid
increase in the number of Aircrafts being operated by both the Public and
Private sector airlines, which is further demanding more and more AME s.
Thus, there is more than ample scope for a decent, highly remunerative and
exciting job in the glamorous field of aviation for those who are well trained
in Aircraft Maintenance Engineering.

Q.
Can women perform successfully the duel role as home and at work given the job
schedules?
A.
Yes. It’s like any other job on the earth, of course, in the sky. The
pilots are posted and operated from the airports they are attached to. They
have ample free time which can be devoted to the family.
Q It is believed that the tenure as a Pilot is
limited to very short span of time and one has to retire from the services at
relatively tender age thus making the rest of his/her life unoccupied. Is
it true?
A. No. It’s
a misconception prevails. One can render his/her services as a pilot as long as
he/she could live up to the standards specified. Their retirement age is like
any other profession between 58 and 60 years.
Q.
How important is the role of an AME in an Airliner ?
A.
It’s like the heart to a human body. Unless and until the AME nods positive,
the voyage is grounded.
Q.
How different is the job from that of Engineers in other fields of transport?
A. A.
It’s different altogether. Every flight has to be certified prior to take off
of all the sections viz., Airframes, Radio Equipment, radar system etc., which
are equally crucial for a flight. Any shortcomings in these areas may
prove fatal. Hence, more responsibility lies with
